Krabi province is in the south west of Thailand.
The best time to visit Krabi is from November to April when the weather is consistently warm and dry. Krabi has a new international airport and is also accessible by road and rail from Bangkok, and overland or by sea from Phuket.
Best known for its island studded bays and white beaches, there are many sites of natural beauty to visit both on land and at sea.
The population of Krabi is a mixture of Muslim, Buddhist and Christian and its cuisine is influenced by all these cultures.
