Tourism on this island is very low impact, and traditional industries still flourish and provide the main source of income for the population here, which is over 90% Muslim. There are fishing and farming villages scattered around the coast, a small market town, scenic mountain lookouts and coastal views of the surrounding islands. You can explore at your own pace by sea or land - hire a taxi, scooter, bicycle, kayak or boat - or just relax by the sea.
