Posted on Business & Pleasure TravelerVerified Fantastic Excursion & Company - HIGHLY Recommend! We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Andaman Camp and Cruise and can’t thank the team enough for such a fantastic excursion. I first connected with the owner through a Thailand Facebook group, and she was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. I had been struggling to find a company that could create a customized private itinerary; one I’d feel comfortable sending payment to in advance overseas. She went out of her way to answer all my questions, design the perfect day, and accommodate every special request. From start to finish, everything was handled seamlessly, making the entire process stress-free, which I especially appreciated given my busy schedule. When the day arrived, we were paired with Bobby as our host, and he was PHENOMENAL. He made the day feel special, fun, and effortless, and his energy added to the entire experience. His service was exceptional, ensuring we were happy at every step and making the most of our adventure. He even went above and beyond by helping us with a few additional stops outside the original itinerary to enhance our trip. As an aspiring photographer, Bobby also captured some of the best photos and videos of our trip. An additional touch we were note expecting. The entire crew was fantastic. Their experience and guidance ensured we visited Maya Bay during a much less crowded window, and they monitored the tides for other special stops on our itinerary. It was clear they were fully dedicated to making sure everyone had an amazing time. Thank you again to the whole team for organizing such a memorable excursion. We would absolutely recommend Andaman Camp and Cruise to anyone looking for a smooth, personalized, and exceptional experience.Posted on Journey54610391892Verified The Best Island Hopping Experience We had an incredible day on our island-hopping tour, thanks largely to our guide, Abdullah. He accompanied us on every boat and land excursion, providing a seamless experience. We especially appreciated the flexibility to adjust the itinerary as we went. To top it off, the food and drinks were both plentiful and delicious. Highly recommended!Posted on Amanda TVerified Absolutely Phenomenal — A Must-Do Thailand Experience Joy spent several days talking with me via fb providing information before we even booked anything , and all with no pressure or expectation to book. If you’ve been put off by the Car sales man approach that most companies do here , joy will be a refreshing change. Once we booked . We decided on 2 days . We would have preferred the canoe trip to be less rushed and could have skipped the hike to the view point on one of the islands I believe it was pipi, but I can’t quite remember the name . We had an excellent guide both days and were grateful to have the same person each time. He even made sure that we stopped at an island on our way back and had lunch on the beach. Definitely will be coming back to Thailand and booking more trips with them in the future. Our pictures don’t do this trip justice. We just needed to slow down just a bit and we could’ve gotten much better pictures of the canoe trip.Posted on Ranj ChibbaVerified The Best Experience Ever! This is the second year in a row that I have come to Thailand & used this company to undertake my boat tours. Basing myself in Krabi and doing the 4 Island longboat tour as well as the Phi Phi Island Speedboat tour that included Maya Bay, Bamboo, Pileh Lagoon etc. I opted for the Private tours both years as really wanted to beat the crowd to the islands & also use the tour guides in depth knowledge to get the best experience. For both years my guide was Bobby. What can I say? JUST FANTASTIC!! Bobby is fun, attentive, knowledgeable, polite and just a Beautiful man! He has become a friend as we talk whilst I’m in my home country. The boats are beautiful, great food & service is provided! The care and attention shown is by far the best level of customer care I have ever received anywhere in the world. This is an independent family run business headed by a lovely lady called Joy who also spent time with me last year. Infact so much so that he kindly invited me to a family meal out and also booked, picked me up and took me for a dental appointment. If you are coming to Thailand, reach out to Joy & her team, they will fulfill all your wishes and make your dreams come true! Just beautiful people!Posted on tabassumsmilesVerified Hong Island + 4 Island Full Day We had a wonderful day on the 7 Island tour with Abdullah. He was on time and picked us up from the hotel pier ( we were at Centara onthe.beach) Hong Islands inthe morning were spectacular. It for very busy at the other Islands ( Chicken and the other 3 islands nearby ) and it was super crowded and touristy . No fault of anyone’s but I’d do a different island next time . The snorkeling is okay . Abdullah gave us our space but was also pretty attentive and friendly . This is a pricey tour but you do get to spend more time when and where you want. Enjoy !Posted on YashrajVerified 4 island tour The tour was great, it was very well organised. The guide Bobby was very kind and helpful. Overall, we had a superb experience and would definitely recommend it.Posted on NeutrinoVerified A great outing to Hong Island and surrounds All of the crew at Andaman Camp & Cruise were excellent - so accommodating and thorough in communication. We had initially had them recommended to us by friends who had "sailed" with them before. We are so thankful for that recommendation. We went with a private, full-day Hong Island, longtail boat trip and customized it a bit. Our guide was super helpful and the boat crew members were very friendly and supportive. In addition to the regular stops on Hong Island, they beached the boat and laid out a wonderful picnic lunch. A highlight of the afternoon for me was getting to steer the boat for part of the return to Ao Nang. We could not have asked for a better experience that day. We highly, highly recommend Andaman Camp & Cruise when in Ao Nang.Posted on Nilesh PVerified 4 Island tour We booked a 4 Island tour as this was highly recommended. It was really an enjoyable trip and memorable. Bobby our guide was wonderful and he just made everything go as per our expectations on the day. The food was delicious 😋. It was spot on. Thank you for getting this all booked and ready. Really appreciated . If you are visiting Krabi then get a tour booked here👏 🙏🏽👍🏽Posted on Tom&NikkiTravelVerified One of the BEST decisions of our trip! **INDEPTH REVIEW** We decided to book a private tour with Andaman Camp and Cruise having seen some great reviews of their tours online and genuinely couldn't be happier that we did. Initially reaching out through their website, Joy quickly responded to my queries and provided tonnes of detail and options for us to consider as to how we wanted to book, which islands to visit, which transport mode etc. Joy made everything a breeze to organise and there was no point we were left in doubt that we'd reached out to the best option for us. We decided to go with a Private Speedboat tour of the Phi Phi Islands. Knowing that using a speedboat would get us there as early as we could from our hotel in Ao Nang this set us up for the best day we could have. In the weeks leading upto the tour the weather forecast had me nervous, having booked the tour for the day before we departed Thailand it left no room for error. Typical to the south of Thailand despite the weather app showing rain we had glorious sunshine with blue skies for the full day (maybe a little too much sun for my pale English shoulders!) We started the day being picked up at our hotel lobby by Bobby our guide for the day. A character full of life and smiles it was obvious we were going to have a great day. Bobby ran us through the plan for the day when we arrived at the private dock just 5 minutes or so away from our hotel and introduced us to the speedboat captain Mr Am and Bin his first mate. Once onboard we were shown where everything was on the boat, lifejackets, snorkeling equipment, cold soft drinks etc, and within minutes we could feel the wind in our hair as we headed out to sea. Our first stop for the day was at Bamboo Island - not where I'd anticipated to be honest as I'd hoped to get to Maya bay as early as possible to minimise on the crowds but it was recommended to do this first by the team. They couldn't have been more right! On docking at Bamboo island it was like a tropical paradise, with only 1 other boat on the island it felt deserted, crystal clear waters and palm trees swaying in the wind. We had some time exploring the island, walking along the gorgeous white sand, watching small hermit crabs scurrying along the beach before strolling back towards the boat. It was when we arrived back that Bin gestured to grab the snorkel masks and get in the water as there was a number of baby black tip reef sharks in the shallows - WHAT AN EXPERIENCE! Swimming along in these waters with small black tip reef sharks was not something I was expecting but was phenomenal. We were exceptionally lucky as once more boats started to arrive (as we were leaving) the sharks made themselves scarce and disappeared. On towards Maya bay and Bobby was continually talking us through the history, the location and giving us options for how to visit. As we sailed through the open ocean I clocked something out the corner of my eye - DOLPHINS! A pod of wild dolphins maybe 40 of them, swimming and playing in the ocean right near us. Having alerted Bobby, he shouted to Mr Am who immediately killed the engine and left us floating quietly. The dolphins came closer in what was a 15/20 minute stop none of us had anticipated. As it turns out dolphins there are quite rare, so much so whilst we were recording them...so were Bobby, Mr Am and Bin! A moment to never forget. Continuing on we decided to do Maya bay beach despite it being CRAZY busy when we arrived as we'd gone all that way I suspect we would have regretted not seeing it. Bobby was a great guide and very willing photographer for us as well which was greatly appreciated. Bobby advised us that Maya bay is always busy even at sunrise with many tours running to get people there for sunrise so catching it after that in a 'quiet' space was virtually impossible. We then headed to Phi Phi Le lagoon before visiting the Pirates cave on our way to Phi Phi Don for lunch. As we came into Phi Phi Don we also stopped at Monkey Beach for a couple of minutes. Thankfully the tide was high and there was no beach so we just observed the monkeys in the trees from the boat. This was a better experience than seeing tourists on the beach teasing monkeys with food like we'd seen others mention online and was one of the reasons we were going to avoid it. Nevertheless, seeing the monkeys in the trees just doing there own thing was a lovely stop. Arriving in Phi Phi Don, we had some lunch and some free time (roughly 1hr 50mins) to walk around the island and check out local cafes, shop and sight see. I was surprised that despite it being a "tropical paradise location" Phi Phi Don was quite grubby, its a shame but a result of overdemand from tourism. After an hour we'd seen everything we wanted to see and met back up with Bobby before heading back to the boat. Finally we stopped off at Shark Point for some snorkeling before heading back to Ao Nang. As by this point it was 2pm and there had been boats in and out all day there were no reef sharks to be seen (not that I can blame them!) There was plenty of coral and fish though that were just as cool to snorkel with for 30 mins or so. Throughout the whole day the team were great! Captain Am was fantastic and a super smooth sailor, something that had me slightly concerned when I booked as Nikki isn't the best with boats. On recognising this earlier in the day Bobby provided fresh pineapple as a cure for it and low and behold it helped almost immediately - who knew! We couldn't have been happier to have booked with Andaman, whilst the running order wasn't what we originally had in mind the day turned out better than we could have hoped for following the teams recommendations!Posted on Debasish ChoudhuryVerified We had a lovely experience, would definitely recommend... We had a good tour, with great support from Joy, Chor & Fartin. Special thanks to Joy for taking us to Wat Kaew Korawaram temple in Krabi town (About 40 mnts drive from our Resort) in her private vehicle... Overall a very good experience, would definitely recommend...
When booking with Andaman Camp & Cruise, not only are you supporting local families in Ao Nang, but you are also championing tours that ensure our paradise, our seas and our islands are respected and cherished.
Unfortunately, many tour agencies in Krabi do not have the same love for the nature we explore. We have been disappointed to arrive to areas and see plastic, litter and remains of other tours.
You won’t find single use plastic or Styrofoam on any of our Andaman Camp & Cruise Tours. We ensure that no trace of our visit is left. We hope to encourage other agencies to do the same.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions or queries. Please complete the enquiry form below and we’ll reply as soon as possible!
